This 6-day/80HR training on the magical island of Bali will help you develop your skills in teaching yoga to children, social-emotional learning, and creating resilient youth. You will have the opportunity to deepen your understanding of these important topics, and learn how to apply them in your own work with children.
Yoga for Kids Bali is dedicated to teaching kids yoga and mindfulness and promoting change from within. We believe that every person has the power to make a difference in the world, and it starts with a strong connection between body, mind, and soul. By working on ourselves, we can create lasting positive change in the world around us.
Join us as we dive into discovering the inner workings of a developing brain and body. You also know how to support children’s growth and development. With a solid foundation in eastern and western philosophies, you promote harmony both on and off the yoga mat and inside and outside of the classroom.
The Modules
Module 1
Here you will learn why yoga is great for kids and teens and why yoga Is great for kids and teens!
We will also learn yoga philosophy and how to introduce abstract concepts to children and teens in a relevant, teachable way.
We explore mindfulness, kids’ yoga, and how to create a well-rounded yoga lesson. We also talk about how stress and anxiety can impact kids, both in terms of mood and physical health.
Module 2
In this section, we discuss physical development and the body systems. We look at hormonal imbalances and the premenstrual cycle for developing teens. Lastly, we discuss anatomy considerations and safety tips.
Module 3
Here we combine developmental stages, psychology and brain development, as well as learn about the different types of intelligence and its relevance to creating yoga lesson plans.
We dive into emotional development and learn how yoga and mindfulness support social and emotional learning.
We spend time understanding yoga and sensory development. We offer a multi-sensory yoga approach to help children with sensory integration difficulties. We’ll be focusing specifically on the senses of touch, taste, sight, hearing, and smell. Additionally, we’ll incorporate our two hidden senses: proprioception and vestibular. Using asanas, breathing techniques, and visualization techniques, we aim to support the integration of internal and external stimuli in the body’s sensory processing system.
Module 4
Here we dive into Mindful Breathing for nervous system modulation. We explore yoga flow through the sun salutation as well as 50 brain and body developing yoga poses. You will learn how to apply yoga poses to the energetic body and explore ways to calm the senses and focus the mind.
We’ll explore how to integrate yoga into your classroom in order to settle students down at the beginning of class, refocus them when their attention wavers, calm and centre them before assignments and tests, and build their confidence and self-regulation. You’ll learn about various yoga poses and exercises that can be used for each of these purposes, as well as how to incorporate them into your daily classroom routine.
Module 5
Yoga for Kids for differently abled children. Many kids face unique challenges that can be addressed through yoga. Yoga helps build confidence and success in children as they learn to overcome obstacles. Here we explore Austim, ADHD, and other additional needs.
Module 6
This is where our creativity comes in. In this class, we will explore different healing modalities and learn how to incorporate them into your yoga practice. We will use storytelling, creative art, mandala, mudra, and partner yoga poses to help us connect with our energy and break down complex concepts into everyday language.
Module 7
This is our Magic Music Module. Here you will learn how to use sounds to create enjoyable, interactive, educational, and relaxing experiences for children from 3 years and upwards.
Module 8
Yoga and Mindfulness for Kids and Teens. Want to know how to practice yoga with different age groups? Which poses are appropriate for each age group? How to plan and theme a yoga class? In this module, we’ve got you covered!
Module 9
After completing this module, you will be able to teach yoga and mindfulness to children and teenagers. You will also be able to plan classes and manage them effectively. This will enable you to make an impact immediately and start earning an income from teaching yoga.
Bonus Lecture:
Teacher Burnout – Achieve Balance. One of the most important aspects of teaching yoga to kids and teens.
During this training, we will also have a couple of Speciality Teachers joining the team and sharing their knowledge about; Anatomy for kids and Music Therapy.
On the last day of the training, you will visit MTC and Sunrise School, where you will get to use your new set of skills for a hands-on experience teaching yoga and mindfulness to children.

Please Note: We teach differently to reach your personal unique learning style. We use a combination of the Montessori method (self-directed activity, hands-on learning, and collaborative play) with small group instruction.
